Print Post acrylic artwork by sarah blank

There is a surreal, some would even say whimsical quality to Sarah Blank’s acrylic paintings, as they are filled with seemingly impossible scenes. In one, a girl stands ankle deep in a shallow stream filled with tiny, yet stately sailing ships; in another, silhouettes of ships waft lazily from a cup of hot tea.

Not all of Sarah’s work is quite as fantastical, but they are all beautifully drawn, with details aplenty. I particularly love that she paints with a distinctly vintage style, filled both with patterns and attire that are indicative of a more wistful, charming era.
