While beauty can be a difficult concept to define, it’s fairly easy to recognize. In the case of the charms at AppleJade Studios’ Etsy shop, delectably so. What I like best is the way she careful balances between semi-precious stones and generous helpings of sterling silver. These are pieces that are undoubtedly fun, yet have a nice hint of elegance as well.

Taken by themselves, the individual charms and components that AppleJade uses aren’t anything new — but all combined, it’s quite a sight! In particular, her careful use of colors–from fun and flirty pinks and violets to autumnal oranges and browns–is quite pleasing to the eyes. In fact, all jewelry is organized into sections by colors; I actually wish more stores would do this, as it makes finding what you want at AppleJade a total treat!
