Print Post bea valdes

Bea Valdes’ work is pure artistic joy: from turquoise beads to peach feathers, she packs in an amazing amount of detail into her crystal encrusted purses and sequined scarves. It’s enough that you can’t help but feel a bit of sensory overload when you gaze upon each piece; there’s just so much beauty to scrutinize.

It’s been said that Bea will actually calculate the space between crystals and the slope of each feather until every piece is perfect; she’s painfully meticulous, but the results speak for themselves. With retailers such as Barneys, Saks Fifth and Vegas’ Wynn Casino, you can be sure these are likely out of most of our price ranges–but fortunately, the inspiration is free. 1. I’ve seen her works before as we both come from Manila–very, very beautiful pieces. They are expensive though but, as you said, it’s free to look!

  3. Wow. I have always said that true art requires god like patience. It must take a long time to finish each of these pieces.
