I’ve had the pleasure of previously talking to arts’n'crafty mum Jhoanna Aranez of One Red Robin, and I mean it when I say she produces some of the most unique work I have ever seen. Above: beautiful mixed-media collages are one of her specialties; sequins and jewels glitter on a bed of fabric and decorative paper, encased in a shabby-chic wood frame.

Even more amazing are her Chibi dolls, each swathed in vintage fabric and adorned with felt flowers, buttons and ribbons. Each Chibi stands just over a foot tall. Lovely, lovely colors and innocent, tender eyes really make these dolls shine.

Lastly, One Red Robin sells cute plush animals which feature ornate quilted patchwork on their bodies. Stuffed with soft polyfill, I can see them doubling as accent pillows, each tucked in their own corner of a sofa.
