Print Post broken plate pendant company

When Victoria E featured these broken plate pendants, I just knew I had to take a look for myself! The entire venture started when the creator of Broken Plate found a few interesting pieces of vintage plate in her mosaic mailbox that she could not bear to toss. After wrapping one in solder, she realized she was on to something and before she knew it, plates were being broken daily!

It’s not just the irregularity of the shapes that I love, but the way each piece is a snapshot onto a greater whole that you’ll never see; this is just an open invitation for your imagination to roam. Each piece is rounded and wrapped in copper tape and lead-free silver solder. The solder itself is then patinaed in rustic black to give the plate fragment an effective border. There’s lots more to see, so I encourage you to stop by Broken Plate!
