clutches and handbags by tortilla girl

Becky calls herself the Tortilla Girl, but I think she could also pass as a renaissance woman; a former lawyer turned fashion designer, illustrator and patternmaker, she makes fabulous clutches and handbags from her home in France. Many of her fabrics are sourced from French textiles companies and are therefore limited edition.

Her clutches in particular are simple yet stylish, and blend complimentary fabrics and colors. My favorite is her Geisha and Kanji clutch, which mixes a Geisha print on the front flap with Japanese writing. I like her Mini Judy wristlet as well, which has a fun apparel-style with its blend of denim and tailor suit plaid fabric. To see more of Becky’s work, visit either her at Etsy or on her main website!
