crafty bags for stylish girls

Browsing through the Cuteable Flickr Pool last week I came across these creative bags by Elizabeth Ingrid. As I usually do, I tried to find more information on how to buy one, only to find out that it gets much better–these handbags are DIY projects, all of them covered in her book, Crafty Bags for Stylish Girls.

The book includes 45 purses and pouches with step-by-step instructions on how to make each one using a glue gun or craft glue! Using common craft items like felt, beads, brooches and ribbons, Elizabeth puts together some beautiful pieces that really make you go, “Wow!”.

I like her Haunted Dollhouse the most–it has a macabre yet cute style to it that kinda reminds me of the cartoon, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch; when you open it up, you get an entire creepy mansion setting, down to the cobwebs (made from lace)! Crafty Bags for Stylish Girls was just released this March, and is available on Amazon for just under $12.
