Cuteable guest post – Amy from LucyKate Crafts
Having spent a bit of time researching Foxes in preparation for designing a new softie pattern, I’ve chosen Foxes as my theme here…,
First up is a really sweet earring set by Joanna Rutter. There is a matching necklace, and lots of other earring sets all using motifs taken from nature in her range.
Matte Stephens has a range of prints depicting foxes. I liked this one in particular as he looks like such a gentleman, in his suit jacket and tie.
Abigail Brown’s red fox is just beautiful. Her design has such delicate features, mirrored in the tiny random embroidery she uses to embellish the body. Abigail has announced on her blog recently that birds are shortly to become available in Liberty’s. Congratulations to Abigail!.
‘Under the Stair Studios‘ is the brainchild of illustrator, Kat. Her listings on Etsy contain some delightful 3D paper sculptures depicting mini theaters and circus rings which house playful animals.
And last but by no means least, an ‘F is for Fox’ pdf embroidery pattern by Penguin and Fish. This is part of a range of patterns from the alphabet series. So simple, even the most inexperienced embroiderer would easily be able to have a go!
Thanks Amy – I love your choices! Amy has a fabulous Etsy shop and a great blog that often has tutorials and patterns.
