A former graphic designer who found arts and crafts more appealing, Cate Anevski’s art is at once filled with both simple shapes and complex patterns. Each of her pieces is made using pen, ink and Corel Painter; she then prints on glossy archival paper and thoughtfully includes a mat which each piece.
Malota’s work can be described as quirky, from her vibrant, somewhat offbeat choice of colors to her oddly but adorably shaped creatures. I first came across Malota’s wonderful felt dolls, which are her own take on the familiar “face in an animal jacket” design; the overall effect is cute but somewhat strange, which I absolutely love.
My daily cute finds, served up fresh from me to you!

Cute sock monkeys found on Flickr, created for graduation party favors; I call them Sockwork Orange.

Ola continues to amaze me with her delicate ceramic work and wonderful application of colors; this is a pitcher and four cups that she has posted on Etsy to gauge interest (there’s plenty, Ola!).

If you’ve been hunting around for asian-style crochet patterns, Simple Arts Planet is a good place to start. They all have similar features: big, round heads, cute little arms and legs and a short, squat body. My favorite is definitely Bluko the Penguin, clad in bright blue with big, innocent eyes!

I love these bags and journals, which tastefully mix botanical line art with modern/retro colors.

These aluminum bowls are covered with hand-painted enamel in absolutely delicious summer colors!
Red Envelope has a summer sale with up to 70% off; they’re well known for their selection of unique gifts. I was actually pleasantly surprised that they have quite a selection of super-cute knick knacks and doodads. Not that I need anymore tchotchkes, but they’re on sale! =)
Here’s a cute little crafty project that allows you to make your own wallet shrine. For those of you who aren’t familiar, a wallet shrine generally has three folds that opens up to reveal pictures of saints, a miniature rosary and folded prayer.
Rose and Radish’s Tea Time section is just brimming with delightful pieces, all of them light and airy. Here are a few that I really like:

Mixko’s Delight Original Light is covered with beautiful butterfly cutouts; made from wool felt.

Jessica Poundstone is a jewelry designer whose cute background story instantly makes you feel comfortable with her. Slightly self effacing, she talks about having “neither the cash to invest nor the guts” to buy clothing with the bright colors she loved, so instead she opted to create pendants: what she calls her “little color explosions”.
