Happy (belated) Australia day!

I haven’t had chance to put together a proper post but I thought I would share with you (very quickly) one of my favourite Australians, Pip from Meet Me At Mikes. She is an avid crafter and has been sharing her tips on how to make granny squares in a series of posts (for all lessons check out the sidebar on her blog) I am not a yarn person at all although my mum and sister can knit and crochet and I am determined to become a crochet fiend one day! Pip’s crochet school will help me do it I’m sure! There are videos too if you need to physically see what to do. Enjoy!

This ragged, shabby chic baby quilt by Shabby Neesey is made to order and you can choose colours and even have the babies name and date of birth put on it too. It would make a great extra special gift.
