dolls for friends

Dolls For Friends (DFF) is a unique effort by Jill and Erin Lynch of eljl.net where they make one-of-a-kind, handmade dolls and distribute them to various professionals. The duo was recently seen at Portlands Crafty Wonderland and will soon be seen in the Oregonian Newspaper this Thanksgiving. They make a startlingly diverse variety of dolls, but my favorites by far are their cute octopus-like jellies (seen above).

What makes DFF unique is the complete uniqueness of their dolls; there is a strong sense of customization that goes into each. They’ve recently begun offering their creations on Etsy, which is a wonderful thing; I just love the idea that I’m owning something that nobody else will ever have. For more information on DFF, stop by their shop here, or their main website here!

[…] A random search across the internets yielded an awesome little piece on Cuteable about Dolls for Friends. Apparently, we were spotted at Crafty Wonderland “doin’ our thang”, and we got a little appreciation for it. Thank you to the wonderful folks at Cuteable for the kind words and appreciation. It’s so great to be sharing our vision with people and to be receiving so much positive feedback after such a short amount of time. We had the chance to meet Jill And Erin at the PDX Winter Solstice Sale! They are super cool and their little creations are full of character and so cute! My 7 year old even bought one of the little jelly fish for her 4 year old sister for Christmas!
