I find in winter when the seasonal colours are getting somewhat muted I’m drawn to brights to cheer me up. This cute and vibrant ring from Realicoul fits the bill perfectly.

Love Mr Wick’s use of upcycling interesting items to create candle holders but especially love this one and it’s a real contrast of past brand and current colour.

Gail from seventyseventyone design has donated one of these to the current competition I have on Shop Handmade. Its colour, volume and simplicity make it perfect to brighten up any outfit or handbag and it’s beautifully made.

This artwork by The Botanical Concept reminds me of my youth, my mother is a horticulturalist so I grew up with botanical books and the Latin names for plants drummed into me, unfortunately the green thumb has jumped a generation to my son.

Love the Golden collection from Daisy Chain, its make using and old Korean technique call Keum Boo to fuse gold to sterling silver and the result is stunning.

I love the colour of this print by Illusio Creative but I especially love the shading around the main artwork, I find it somewhat mesmerising.
