If there’s a way to visually describe whimsical, these tees by Heli are it! I love the way she makes creative use of the entire shirt, often featuring what appears to be an angry dog at the bottom and either a girl or kitty cats near the top. What I really can’t get over is that these are all hand-painted yet available for the cost of a normal screen printed tee!

Born in Finland but currently residing in Turkey with her husband, Heli also has several prints and original hand-painted pieces for sale. All of them feature the same quirky, somewhat mischievous girl; you can almost sense her inner feistiness, although in some scenes she does appear a bit sad. I’m definitely her newest fan and encourage you to stop by her shop and say hello, Heli says her English is bad but I think it’s just fine!
