Print Post janne wendt’s pillows and rugs

Janne Wendt’s pillows and rugs feature fairly simple dot and stripe patterns, yet therein lies their charm. They’re basic enough for a child to understand, yet their equally simple color palettes are a refreshing alternative for adults who appreciate contemporary design and are looking for something a little bit more minimalist. Each piece is made from knitted felted 60% wool and 40% alpaca mix, and is steamed, washed and sewn to perfection.

True to their basic nature, Wendt’s collection is hand printed in Copenhagen; which makes them limited in availability (and resultantly somewhat pricey). Still, you have to admit that her pieces are both attractive and well designed; I find myself inspired every time I see them.
