Print Post janzio handmade pendants, jewelry and accessories

Thanks to artists like Jan Ziozios, polymer clay is fast becoming one of my favorite mediums. Jan alternates between a variety of techniques; what initially caught my eye were her beautiful image transfers, which feature multiple layers that include birds, butterflies and text for a lovely collage look. She coordinates each piece with different necklaces that include braided cord, goldtone chains and beads.

Not all of her pieces are image transfers; Jan also stamps images directly onto the polyclay. The overall look is fairly simple but cute; one of my favorites is her “So Ugly He is Cute” pin, which features a housefly of all things. Almost passed up at a local shop because of its ugliness, it has turned out to be one of her most popular pieces in her Etsy store, JanZio!
