Print Post Katrine K

I can’t remember how I first stumbled across Katrine’s work but I have been hooked ever since. She uses such beautiful colours that are muted and almost ethereal when place alongside the images in her work.

Katrine is a Norwegian artist but she does have an English language blog if you want to keep up with her work.

Katrine’s work deals with emotions very well – the majority of her people seem to be waiting for something that only they know about. You can buy Katrine’s original work and prints here.

  2. I love Katrine’s work too! Each picture seems to have a story behind it and, as you say, the colour palette is so delicate and balances the central figures perfectly.

  4. Katrine is one of my favorite artists–I have a few of her pieces, and I have to say they get a lot of attention at my framer’s shop and on my wall. Her work, as you say, is very emotional and evocative. I find it very moody and incredibly beautiful. I think she is extremely talented–I feel very lucky to own her work!
