Hip, stylish and durable are the favorite words of Stacey, owner of Modsacks, which recently opened its doors. After receiving a Bernina sewing machine from her husband, she’s been creating cute, well-designed bags ever since that range in size from large hobos all the way down to iPod sleeves.

Stacey loves to mix patterns and isn’t afraid to try something a little risqué; her bags are never bland but and are definitely created as much to impress as to carry. A mother of three, she knows the value of things that are designed to last; piping adds strength (and style) to corners and edges, while multiple reinforcements on the handles and pressure points prevent holes and tearing.
