Try saying the word “Moopf” and you may have a bit of a tongue twister–but that’s where the difficulties end: I think Gareth Lancaster’s cartoons are incredibly easy on the eyes. Sketched with pen and pencil and then digitized using Adobe Illustrator, his artwork is cute, crisp and colorful; that’s not a bad combination!

Available in the form of cards, buttons and stickers, Gareth has been focusing his attention on the holidays–I especially like his snowboarding snowmen and caroling worms (yes, worms!). Although he only started selling his work two weeks ago, I think he’s off to a great start; I encourage you to swing by his shop if you’d like to stock up on Xmas-themed cards, or simply to see lovely work from this promising new artist.
