Print Post MyPaperCrane’s Delicious Plushes

Heidi Kenney of MyPaperCrane specializes in putting eyes on things. Okay, okay - I know it’s a gross oversimplification of her lovable plushes, but it’s amazing what a set of cute little eyes can do to everyday objects. From cupcakes to cacti, MyPaperCrane has a nice and varied selection of stuffies that I would love to take home.

Although she has no formal training, Heidi’s been making plushes for nearly four years from her home in Pennsylvania. I really dig her ice cream dish and donuts (likely because I haven’t had lunch yet). Her grilled cheese sandwich and milk cartons are a hoot too!

Heidi’s not afraid of a little potty humor - just take a look at her tampon and toilet paper dolls. Too bad her deceased iPod and a Katamari Damacy dolls aren’t for sale! Visit her shop here or see her Flickr gallery here.

Rosenpigs can be seen in person at Occupied, a gift shop in Vancouver (which also carries stuffies by MyPaperCrane!). You can also order them online by clicking here. […]

  2. […] Remember the cute food plushes from last month? I’ve found a few more from Day-Lab, this time minus the faces but still quite cuteable! You’ve got your beefsteak, pancakes, and even three types of milk (skim, 2% and whole). Each of these make great throw pillows and are made from felt with polyfill. PS - proceeds from the sale of this item go directly to help aid with Hurricane Katrina relief. For more information, visit Day-Lab. […]
