Print Post re:made

Making old new again is the mission of re:made, with a store dedicated to mixing ecological sustainability with original designs. Above: their fashionable beanies are repurposed from 100% wool sweaters; appliqués and striping are kept to a minimum to give an understated, yet classy appeal. I also like their reversible skirts, which are, of all things, made from two vintage pillowcases; just like their beanies, these are one of a kind pieces.

I’m particularly enamored with their button bobbies, which made from old sets of buttons from varying time periods; it’s basically a vintage smorgasbord! You can also choose from numerous belt bracelets, which are constructed from old belts; many even retain the original buckle, which is a nice (if a bit quirky) touch. If you are interested in environmentally sound shopping this holiday season, you should definitely add re:made to your list!
