Print Post scatterbox originals by catherine hayward

Catherine Hayward’s work has a deliciously light and simple feel to it; it’s likely due to her liberal use of creamy/soft white fabrics, along with a knack for choosing charming adornments that never overwhelm. I really like Gus (above), who is a lop-eared bunny made from white wool-viscose felt and a sage-green appliqué tummy and ears; I also think her Trees tote bag is also delightfully fresh.

I particularly like these little cotton notebooks, each of which is appliquéd with simple designs that include cupcakes and elephants; there’s 50 leaves of creamy paper and an extra piece of string for securing them shut, making these great gifts for your little writers and artists. Oh–and don’t forget her coinpurses; it’s tough to choose between the bumblebee and the cupcake, they’re so adorable! Catherine also sells beautiful butterfly brooches; you can see them at more at her shop, Scatterbox Originals!
