Print Post sewing stars

Teresa is one of those crafters with such an infectiously cheery personality that you can’t help but get hooked! A multitalented “crazy lady”, Teresa makes crafty goods of all sorts–from stuffed animals and sewing kits to handbags and buttons, she seems to have a knack for making cute. My favorites are the Fruit Head Gang stuffies, which are made from fleece, felt and often dressed in cute cotton or silk fabrics. Despite being little looking, these are good sized dolls–Sour Lemon is the smallest in the photograph above, but still comes in at 8 inches.

Her store, Sewing Stars, also carries many of her other crafty goods. Her purse-sized pouches measure in at 3.5″x4.5″ and are ideal for loose change or cards. They feature her Fruit Head Gang as well as other adorable characters (I heart Mr. Bunny!), and have contrasting back and inner lining fabrics. I also love Teresa’s numerous itty bitty buttons and badges, which work perfectly with the simple + cute look of her artwork.

Not yet available in her shop (but hopefully soon!) are these extra sweet ice cream dolls. They’re similar in design to the Fruit Head Gang, except with cherries and syrup on top and ice cream cones for bodies. They’re also *extra* cute in cups and bowls, which also opens up a whole new way to display these dolls.

These pictures, btw, come from Teresa’s own LiveJournal–she’s so funny! For more information, feel free to visit her store or her Flickr gallery.
