Print Post KUKLA Studio

Well to say I was bowled over when I saw the work of Elitsa at KUKLA Studio is an understatement – it’s gorgeous work! I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

These earring sets have been made by twisting wire and then using resin to make a stained glass effect – aren’t they beautiful?

This type of work leads to lots of intricate detail.

I love these ‘amber’ earrings – the colour of the amber coloured resin changes as the light catches it.

Print Post Wood Tattoos

Now when you think of pyrography you may think of twee items covered in a dated design. Not so when you visit Wood Tattoos.

Look at these fabulous fridge magnets that feature rock stars such as Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters.

Whoa – spinny eyes (in a good way) with these 1960′s vibe Vortex coasters.

I love the cityscape on this wooden pen block – I can see London, New York, Paris or Tokyo being replicated on these.

I love the amount of work that has gone into this sign that Si made for his stall at craft fairs. The attention to detail is wonderful.

And of course I had to feature some chickens! These humorous ‘One Flew Over the Chicken Coop’ stackable boxes are great fun.

And if you fancy trying a bit of wood burning yourself then Si has just written a book all about pyrography. You can order it from his website (signed copies) or through Amazon. Go, get burning some wood!
